Snowman cake pops made from a chocolate-almond flour batter dipped in yogurt and decorated with dark chocolate eyes and a fruit nose. They take a little assembly, but the result is a festive, protein-packed treat that's worth the freezer time.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Kids Daily Greens + Superfoods Chocolate
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup oat flour (or almond flour / whole wheat)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk (any)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. 2. Combine wet and dry ingredients for the donuts in separate bowls
  3. 3. Add wet to dry and combine
  4. 4. Pipe batter into a donut baking sheet, about half full
  5. 5. Bake donuts 12-15 minutes or until a fork comes out clean.
  6. 6. While baking, add all icing ingredients except colouring to a mixer or bowl for a hand mixer.
  7. 7. Whip until smooth
  8. 8. Separate into bowls and add coloured power as desired.
  9. 9. Wait until donuts are completely cool before icing
  10. 10. Add icing to piping bags and decorte to preference
  11. 11. Store in refrigerator
