You've already done
the research.

So we'll skip the part where we list fifteen vitamins at you. Here's what's actually different about ours — and what parents tell us they notice once it's part of the morning.

The honest version

Most kids' vitamins are competing on flavor. We'd rather compete on form.

Two vitamins can list the same nutrient and deliver something completely different, depending on the form it's in and what it's sitting next to. That's the part that's hard to see on a label — and it's where we spent the three years before launching.

Below: four things parents mention, what's in the formula behind each one, and why we chose it that way.*

What parents notice

Four things that come up again and again

01 · Focus & concentration

When someone else notices first.

Nutrition and brain function are closely linked. Our multivitamin includes key nutrients like Vitamin B1 and Vitamin B5, which are known to support focus and energy levels in growing kids.* Vitamins aren't a substitute for sleep, exercise or a balanced diet — but consistently filling the gaps means your kid's brain has support to grow and focus.

Thiamin (B1) 0.5mg Pantothenic acid (B5) 2.5mg Riboflavin (B2) 0.6mg

Why this form: the B vitamins are paired with organic quinoa sprouts rather than delivered as isolates alone — whole-food sourced.

“My daughter has been taking them now for a month… her attention and concentration in school has been going up… also having a positive energy in school”

02 · Steadier energy

The form matters more than the amount.

Folate and B12 support energy and cellular growth.* The question isn't whether a vitamin contains them — nearly all do. It's which form, because that determines how much a child's body can actually put to use.

Folate as L-5-MTHF 200mcg B12 as methylcobalamin 2mcg

Why this form: we use methylfolate (L-5-MTHF) and methylcobalamin. Those are the forms on the panel.

“My daughter loves these, and I have noticed her appetite increasing and energy levels are far more consistent. Did not know vitamins could do this! Thanks Hiya!”

03 · Immune support

The part parents ask about most.

Vitamin C and Vitamin D support the immune system, and zinc supports the immune system alongside helping with infections, nicks and cuts.* It's the least glamorous part of a multivitamin, and the part that comes up first.

Vitamin C 40mg Vitamin D 25mcg Zinc citrate 3mg Vitamin A 360mcg

Why this form: vitamin C arrives in two forms — calcium ascorbate plus acerola cherry — and zinc as citrate.

04 · They actually take it

The best formula loses to the one your kid refuses.

A typical children's gummy carries up to five grams of added sugar — about as much as an Oreo — and often needs four or five per day. Ours is one chewable, sweetened with monk fruit extract and a touch of mannitol, a sweetener found in strawberries and pumpkins and often recommended by dentists.

0g added sugar Monk fruit + mannitol 1 chewable a day 4 flavors

Why not a gummy: gummies can struggle to keep nutrients stable at reliable levels, often include pork-based gelatin, and cling to teeth. A chewable was the delivery method the experts we spoke to preferred.

If you compare labels

The four questions we get from parents who do

Why isn't there iron in it?

Calcium and zinc can actually interfere with iron absorption, so they should not be taken together — which is why we offer a separate iron supplement.

Which forms of folate and B12 are in it?

It's a fair question, and one we mostly get from parents who already know the difference. Folate is L-5-MTHF-Calcium, alongside folate from organic quinoa sprouts. B12 is methylcobalamin. Both were deliberate choices by the pediatricians and nutritionists who built the blend.

Is the fruit and veg blend meaningful, or decoration?

It's 25mg of twelve organic fruits and vegetables — apple, beet, broccoli, carrot, cabbage, kale, parsley, spinach, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, tomato. It is not a substitute for eating them, and we don't present it as one. It's there because more than 90% of children don't reach their recommended levels of fruits and vegetables.

What's actually in the "other ingredients" line?

Sweetener blend (mannitol, monk fruit extract), stearic acid, hydroxypropyl cellulose, natural flavors, coconut oil powder, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, malic acid, natural color from beet root, spirulina and turmeric root, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin. No synthetic dyes, no gelatin, no added sugar. Formulations can vary slightly with ingredient availability, so the panel on your bottle is always the current list.

Testing

Every batch. Not every so often.

We submit every batch of every product for contaminant testing, using ICP-MS — the FDA- and AOAC-industry standard for detecting trace metals. These are the detection limits we test down to, in parts per billion.

3.4

ppb — arsenic

0.33

We follow the most stringent of state standards, including Prop 65. Our bottles are medical-grade borosilicate glass with water-based exterior paint, tested separately for lead and cadmium. Want confirmation of your batch's third-party lab tests? Email support@hiyahealth.com.

Still deciding

We want you to ask questions

Does my child really need a daily vitamin?
The short answer is probably yes. According to the numbers, more than 90% of children don't reach their recommended levels of fruits and vegetables. We help fill in common nutritional gaps without being a sugar-coated gummy vitamin, which unfortunately has become the default way for kids to be healthy. As always, when making any decisions about vitamins, we suggest consulting with your pediatrician or dentist for a recommendation and further information about any risks associated with sugar and gummy additives.
Can vitamins cause any side effects?
Our vitamin is formulated by pediatricians with purposeful ingredients and without added sugar, artificial dyes, or mystery additives. For most kids, that means zero issues! That said, every child is different, and we always recommend checking in with your pediatrician before introducing any new supplement.
Are your vitamins third-party tested for accuracy and health?
Yes, our vitamins are tested for heavy metals, microbials, and other contaminants, and certified by Clean Label Project, as well as other testing organizations. We ensure the quality and safety of our vitamins using a 3rd party lab that tests for trace amounts of heavy metals, allergens, and pathogens. Unfortunately, third party testing is not an express requirement in the supplement industry, but we go above and beyond in order to put safety first.
What ages should take your multivitamin?
Our vitamins are designed for boys and girls ages 2+. Please always consult your pediatrician to make sure a vitamin is right for your child.
