Fun Summer Treats with Hiya: Kid-Friendly Recipes to Beat the Heat

Summer is here, and there's nothing better than cooling off with delicious, nutritious treats that the whole family can enjoy! These easy-to-make recipes are perfect for getting your kids involved in the kitchen while sneaking in some extra nutrition with Hiya. From refreshing slushies to creamy no-churn ice cream, these treats will keep everyone happy.

Hiya June Recipes

Hydrating Berrylicious Slushie

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • 1 scoop Hiya Kids Daily Hydration

  • 1 cup mixed blackberries & strawberries

  • ½ cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 cup ice

  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Blend well & enjoy!

No-churn Chocolate Ice Cream Dream

  • 2 scoops Hiya Greens + Superfoods (chocolate flavor!)

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 cup cashews, pre soaked in warm water

  • ½ cup medjool dates, pre soaked in warm water

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • ⅓ cup maple syrup or honey

Instructions:

  1. Soak cashews and dates for an hour before in warm water

  2. Add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth

  3. Pour into a deep pan and freeze overnight

  4. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving

Hydrating Berry Popsicles

  • 1 - 2 scoops Hiya Kids Daily Hydration

  • 1 cup water

  • 1.5 cups chopped fresh strawberries & raspberries

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

Instructions:

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth

  2. Pour into popsicle mold and freeze over night

Single Serve Baked Oats

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp Hiya Greens + Superfoods (chocolate flavor)

  • ½ cup milk of choice

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • Handful dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Add ingredients except chocolate chips to a blender

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Pour into oven safe ramekins

  4. Top with chocolate chips

  5. Bake at 350 degrees until a toothpick comes out clean
