For parents who read the label first

The kids' greens parents actually notice a difference with.

You've already read the labels, so we'll skip the part where we list fifty-five ingredients at you. Below: four things parents tell us they notice, what's in the scoop behind each one, and why we built it that way.*

The honest version

Most greens powders are made for adults. That's the whole problem.

They often include herbs or adaptogens with limited studies, nutrient levels tailored to adult dietary needs, and a taste and look that can turn kids off. So a category that grew fast has stayed, in practice, restricted to grown-ups — which is the gap we built this for.

Below: four things parents mention, what's in the scoop behind each one, and why we chose it that way.*

What parents notice

Four things that come up again and again

01 · Greens that actually go in

Vegetables stop being a negotiation.

Most kids don't love greens. So we ground up 55 whole-food ingredients — spinach, broccoli and more — into a powder without the usual taste of greens. It isn't a total replacement for fruits and veggies, and we don't present it as one; it's a concentrated source for kids who may not be getting enough.*

What's in the blend: organic kale, wheatgrass, alfalfa, barley grass, spirulina and chlorella, alongside organic acai, beet, broccoli, cranberry and tart cherry.

“I actually think my son is starting to be less picky in general after starting this drink. Good way to get some nutrition/calories in for him in a reliable way. Love that there's no seed oils”

02 · Digestion

The part nobody puts in the ad.

One of the four blends exists purely for this. Alongside 2g of dietary fiber per scoop, the Kid's Digestion blend brings sprouted grains, seeds and legumes plus organic ginger and turmeric — all of it derived from whole foods.*

What's in the blend: sprouted quinoa, amaranth, millet, buckwheat, broccoli, flax, lentil, pumpkin and sunflower, with organic apple pomace, chia and cinnamon.

“I purchased these greens for my 4 year old granddaughter. She has issues with food and it was affecting her gut. I was able to put these in her breakfast waffle and she's been so much better ever since. So grateful!”

03 · Growth & energy

Where the minerals come from matters.

The Core Development blend is the one aimed at growth and bone development.* What's worth noticing isn't that it contains calcium and vitamin D — most things do. It's the source: in this blend both are derived from whole foods.

Vitamin D 8mcg Calcium 38mg Magnesium 50mg Phosphorus 86mg

Where it comes from: calcium from Aquamin AG™ calcareous marine algae, and vitamin D2 from Earthlight® mushroom powder. Two ingredients, both whole-food derived.

“I caught my husband drinking some too. It's really delicious, my daughter loves it and it fuels her with the energy and vitamins she needed. Can't wait for the next shipment!”

04 · They actually drink it

The best formula loses to the cup left on the counter.

It tastes like chocolate milk, and it's minimally sweet on purpose. Zero added sugar and no synthetic dyes — the flavor comes from a bit of cocoa powder and stevia. One scoop into milk or a milk alternative for kids 2+, two scoops for an extra boost from age 4.

0g added sugar Cocoa + stevia 20 calories a scoop 30 servings

Why shaken, not stirred: we leave out the emulsifiers a typical cocoa powder relies on, so it mixes properly with a shaker, blender or electric whisk rather than a spoon.

If you compare labels

The four questions we get from parents who do

Is this a replacement for fruits and vegetables?

No, and we don't present it as one. It's a concentrated source of greens, superfoods and digestive support meant for kids who may not be getting enough greens, or who need additional nutrient support — a convenient way to offer a wider variety of nutrients than whole fruits and veggies alone.

Which sweetener did you use?

A bit of cocoa powder and stevia, with zero added sugar and no synthetic dyes. Worth flagging that it isn't monk fruit, which is what sweetens our chewables — a powder that has to taste like chocolate needed a different answer.

Why not just give a smaller scoop of adult greens?

Because most adult greens powders include herbs or adaptogens with limited studies, and nutrient levels tailored to adult dietary needs. Halving the scoop changes neither. This was formulated for kids from the start, which is also why it tastes the way it does.

What's in the "other ingredients" line, and are there allergens?

Cocoa powder, organic Madagascar vanilla powder, organic coconut oil powder, hydrolyzed oat creamer powder (OatyCreme™), xanthan gum, stevia leaf extract, sea salt. Contains tree nuts (coconut), and it's manufactured in a facility that also processes wheat, crustacean shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, fish, sesame and eggs. The panel on your canister is always the current list.

Testing

Every batch. Not every so often.

We submit every batch of every product for contaminant testing, using ICP-MS — the FDA- and AOAC-industry standard for detecting trace metals. These are the detection limits we test down to, in parts per billion.

2.1

ppb — lead

3.4

ppb — arsenic

0.33

ppb — cadmium

0.28

ppb — mercury

We follow the most stringent of state standards, including Prop 65. Heavy metals occur naturally in soil, which is exactly why a greens powder is worth testing every batch rather than every so often. Want confirmation of your batch's third-party lab tests? Email support@hiyahealth.com.

Still deciding

We want you to ask questions

Is this product a replacement for daily vegetables and fruits?
Our Daily Greens + Superfoods is a concentrated source of greens, superfoods, digestive enzymes, and more meant for those kids who may not be getting enough greens or need additional nutrient support. While not meant as a total replacement for fruits and veggies, it's a great way to provide a convenient and expansive variety of nutrients than what kids may get from whole fruits and veggies alone.
Why aren't so many greens products ideal for kids?
Unfortunately, most greens powders are formulated for adults. That means, they often include certain herbs or adaptogens with limited studies, nutrient levels tailored to adult dietary needs, and a taste and look that can turn kids off. The result is many greens powders and their health benefits have become more common in recent years yet those same powders have been primarily restricted to adults.
How should I use your Daily Greens + Superfoods?
We suggest adding a scoop (or more) to milk or milk alternative, then shaking to your liking to make sure it's properly mixed. We don't include emulsifiers or typical unnecessary additives you might see in a typical cocoa powder, which means our greens work better when shaken, not stirred. You can shake with a blender, an electric whisker, or whatever works.
What ages is this good for?
Our Daily Greens & Superfoods is designed for boys and girls starting at age 2 and up through teenage years or later. For kids four and older, you can include two scoops for additional support. Since every child is different, please always consult your pediatrician for any questions around dosage.

One canister is a low-stakes way to find out.

Arrives with a 30-day supply, a refillable canister and a sticker pack. Refill pouches come monthly on a pediatrician-recommended schedule, and you can pause, skip or cancel whenever you like.
